The oldest symphony in the South deserves the best of websites. Since 1921, Rome Symphony Orchestra has been providing a variety of concerts that have delighted Romans and northwest Georgians alike. They wanted a website that reflected their 100 years of exceptional performances as well as their goal of appealing to the musician within everyone.
The team at Romega Digital designed a website with this in mind, emphasizing movement by utilizing animations and large visuals. The symphony partnered with 3 Rivers Photography to capture these images of art in action. These choices mimic the feeling of listening to music without using a backing track.
As Rome Symphony prepares for their upcoming concert, “Magic of Christmas”, it is especially important to have a website that effectively expresses all that their talented members offer to the local community and to the arts. Rome Symphony recently announced Concerts & Cocktails, their newest fundraiser and community partnership program. For a small fee, patrons can have a drink with a guest artist. Tickets to these and more events can be purchased on the website. Separate schedules provide information on the upcoming season as a whole.
Easy-to-use and visually appealing, this site provides information about events and shows. There are also portals for visitors to donate to the Symphony. Individual or season-long, these donations play a huge role in helping Rome Symphony continue the song.
