On June 2nd, the patients and staff at Hortman Carney Dental enjoyed a Rome Braves game during a Patient Appreciation Night event we coordinated. Not only was it a fun night for all, but it was a great opportunity for Hortman Carney to get their name out there. We were happy to play a part!
the setup
A couple months ago, we were brainstorming with the Hortman Carney team to figure out a fun event for their patients. Their audience is dedicated to their practice and makes it known, especially on social media. As Hortman Carney is an ongoing client of ours, we’ve seen this with our own eyes, so this was an exciting opportunity for us as well!
We got in touch with our friends at the Rome Braves. Once Hortman Carney picked a date, tickets were secured early so that any patient able to attend could pick them up at the dental practice. We also designed a free t-shirt so that all participants could sport the Hortman Carney logo. A local printer, High Voltage Prints, made this possible.
The staff at Hortman Carney also pitched in. They supplied goody bags stuffed with all your dental necessities: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss. Patient Appreciation Night also happily coincided with the completion of Hortman Carney’s new patient brochure, so we also made sure to bring plenty of those along.
The result
In total, Hortman Carney was able to give away 150 tickets! At the game, we set up a booth for the practice at the front gate of the stadium, ready to hand out extra t-shirts and goody bags. This was a wonderful success as every shirt was picked up. The fans who stopped by loved the free stuff (who doesn’t?) and were genuinely interested in the services offered at Hortman Carney Dental.
Another fun part of the night came at the bottom of the 7th inning. Dr. Carney himself participated in the Money Bag game! Alas, the cash eluded him, but he did win a free shirt from the Rome Braves.
To make the night even better, the Rome Braves walloped the Columbia Fireflies 7 to 1! We could not have asked for a better show from our hometown players.
