About the Client

Toles, Temple & Wright Real Estate has serviced Rome and Floyd County since 1971. Their realtors work in both residential and commercial markets.

The Process

The Toles Temple website uses a type of software called IDX to display area properties for sale. To browse available properties, you would have to leave their original site, which was a sore spot for the Toles Temple team. So, Romega made sure to integrate with an IDX provider that could be a seamless part of the TTW website. The print view for the property was also customized to show the most pertinent information and fit on one page.

In addition to the standard information displayed by the IDX provider, we also added the photo and contact info of the TTW agent, along with a payment calculator. Secondly, to highlight the agents more, we created a page for each. The pages have the agent’s phone number, email, bio, and photo, as well as their recent listings.

The recent listing section is a theme across the entire website and something the Toles, Temple and Wright team wanted. For example, they wanted a “Recently Sold” section on the home page, as well as a Featured Properties space. To make these sections a reality, Romega built a scraper that routinely pulls from the TTW property database. This custom scraper also helps the searching process. Similarly, their team wanted to separate commercial listings from residential ones. We were able to make this distinction by creating a new section just for commercial listings at a new URL, ttwcommercial.com.

From the home page, you can select the area and/or county you’re looking for, like West Rome, Armuchee, Southeast Bartow, etc. The IDX provider did not include a simple street address search that supported partial addresses. That’s also where the scraper comes in handy. Now, you can enter a street name, full address, subdivision name or MLS number into the box on the homepage to see any properties that match.

Finally on search, if you go to the Advanced Search page you can enter lots of detailed options, such as price, beds, baths, minimum square feet, neighborhood, and more.
