Nearly a decade ago, River City Bank opened their doors and was in need of a website. Romega Digital partnered with them from the start to help them develop and execute their vision for a one-of-a-kind, professional-looking, user-friendly website. Most of all, River City Bank needed a site to set their operations up for continued growth and success.
Over the next few years, lots of new content was added as the bank offered new services to their clients. Eventually, the original website became cluttered and difficult to navigate. Romega and River City Bank came back together and decided to wipe the slate clean and rethink how the website was organized and designed.
The biggest change to the website, besides the overall design, was a new content structure that organized pages into three categories: Personal Banking, Business Banking and Wealth & Trust. This way, it’s easy for each audience to find what they’re looking for, rather than having to sift through multiple options that don’t apply to them. To make this new content architecture, we did an exercise with several bank staff members across multiple departments where each page was written on an index card and placed into the proper section — including removing some cards entirely that were no longer needed.
