About the Client

Chick-fil-A is a fast food chain known for their chicken sandwiches and their exceptionally polite employees. A regional branch in Charlotte, North Carolina had plans for a program benefitting the lifestyles of their staff.

The Process

When Chick-fil-A approached us with an idea for a healthy living program, we were excited to turn what might be a basic diet and exercise program into a gamified experience meant to encourage their workforce in Charlotte, NC.

Romega Digital created a web-based application accessible on phones, tablets, computers. Since it was cloud-based, it could be accessed from anywhere and at any time. The app itself was designed with Chick-fil-A branding in mind.

Employees could make an account with a fun username and avatar, adding that gamified touch. Furthermore, each account holder could track what they ate as well as their exercise regimes. There was also a journal feature so participants could take and keep notes in the process. We anonymized all this data and created a point system that would correlate with a value score and ranking on a top 10 leaderboard.
