“We love you guys. Sarah is awesome, Tricia is awesome, [Hillery is] awesome. You do what you say you are going to do.” – Holly Lynch

Romega Digital designed The Season’s original website several years ago, and we have worked with Holly and her team regularly since then. That familiarity with the brand was a huge advantage when it came time to create a new look. Sarah Tebo our lead designer and development project manager worked closely with Holly on this project.

“The first step was sitting down with Holly and learning from her how her business had changed, and how she wants to grow in the future.” Says Sarah Tebo, “We wanted to create a design that was driven by those goals.”

Client Needs:

  • Responsive redesign
  • Design that felt more on brand

“Working with Holly is always a delight. Probably because of her experience in planning and executing events, she is great at giving direction and constructive feedback.” Sarah speaks of her time working with Holly on this project.

Project Highlights:

“My favorite feature of the new site is a dynamic area of the home page that shows different content depending on what’s available. Holly’s team blogs often, and they can highlight a blog post to display on the home page by giving it a particular tag. But if the most recent featured blog post is more than a few days old, a slideshow of images displays instead. This gives the client the ability to highlight blog posts without the pressure of having old news featured on the site.” Sarah Tebo

  • Creating an editorial, magazine feel
  • Spotlighting rich content like blog posts and photos
  • Integrating with social media
  • Focusing on easy site management

The front page is a lot better. It needed an update. Now, it is more magazine-ish and really works to encompass my brand. – Holly Lynch, Owner, Event Planner, The Season Event Planning

We strive to take an objective approach to every responsive retrofit.

With a retrofit, not only has technology changed since a client last updated their website, but their business has changed. That’s why we always suggest re-exploring your website and your brand with us when preparing for a retrofit. Then not only will your website’s function up with the times, but the overall face of your business will be too.
